Brian has spent many years as a featured and leading actor in the British theatre appearing in well over 100 plays. Highlights include several seasons with the Old Vic, the Royal Shakespeare Company (both Stratford-upon-Avon and London), various west end productions, national and international tours, several provincial repertory seasons and just recently he appeared in the sellout UK tour of Dad’s Army. Brian is also interested in good fringe theatre having appeared in many productions of some note.
His debut began with “Carry on Sergeant” and he subsequently went on to become a leading actor for both feature films and TV movies. This included playing the USA President in “Shadowchaser”, Field Marshall Rommel in “Patricide, Lord Beaverbrook in “Alistair Crowley” and he also starred in “While She Slept”.
Too numerous to list. His TV career began with his portrayal of George Lovelace in the BBC epic “Six Men of Dorset” for which he received rave reviews. This lead to being cast in many more productions including the role of that famous, or infamous, Eastenders “Guilty”!!
Brian has voiced literally hundreds of film and TV commercials for major advertisers. In addition, he has narrated movie trailers and a number of documentaries for nearly all the UK TV channels. At one time he was a regular character actor with BBC Radio Drama.
For six years Brian was exclusively contracted worldwide as The Man From Del Monte shooting many commercials which were shown in 32 countries in 29 languages including Russian, Arabic and Chinese. He has also appeared in various other high profile commercials - again far too many to list.
